Welcome to the New Year 2010!

Here we are at the dawn of a whole new decade.  Whatever you do don’t turn the page to begin a new chapter, close the book!  A new manuscript begins. With necessary experiences under our belts which have yielded fresh wisdom, our minds have been re-tooled for the future.

This new book begins with a command from the Holy Spirit to do it again or “re.” In keeping with this divine directive we exhort you to heed the command of Ephesians 5:16 and redeem the time.  In its Greek translation the text urges us to buy up for ourselves the seasonable time; buy up and make the most of opportunities; regard the preciousness of the season; “commanding the time like a master does his servant.”  This then demands multiplied diligence for what lies ahead and that we purchase moments out of the hand of our adversary.

Isn’t it interesting that our term moment is derived from the Latin word momentum [the force or energy gained by a moving object; the force that makes something happen more quickly].  With this understanding then, this year we are being challenged to redeem - buy back our mobility.  Whatever rendered you motionless over the past nine years will lose its ability as you dare to do it again.  Our movement will render us a force to be reckoned with and greatly influence a quick turn around in every situation!  Come on believer - BUY UP THE TIME.

What then is the currency for these time sensitive transactions? Obedience.  In this seize the moment season the ability to hear and do is critical. It is imperative that we revisit and relive deep times of intimate prayer and listening.  Our faith must be re-fired by hearing and our hearing retuned by the WORD of God.

When old God-opportunities resurface grab them.  Shake off slothfulness and lethargy. Move quickly.  Let every synonym for the term seize be operable in your life this year - grab, grasp, snatch, take hold of, get one's hands on; grip, clutch; nab; capture, take, overrun, occupy, conquer, take over; appropriate, take advantage of, exploit, grasp with both hands, leap at, jump at, pounce on - EVERY God - opportunity.

Remember - "Watch the time, and make it your own so as to control it; as merchants look out for opportunities, and accurately choose out the best goods; serve not the time, but command it, and it shall do what you approve." Tittman

In expectation of a year of the Lords bounty for you and yours via recaptured moments,

We love you-
Sir Anthony and Apostle Wynell Freeman
