We believe, according to Deuteronomy 6:4, that the Lord our God is one Lord, with three manifestations: God the Father – the Eternal Spirit, God the Son – Jesus Christ; the only begotten Son of God; the visible manifestation of God; Emmanuel- God with us; God-incarnate (Matthew 1:23; I Timothy 3:16; John 1:1-14) and God the Holy Spirit – (John 14:16, 26; 15:26; 16:7-16).
We believe that the Bible is the infallible, Holy Spirit inspired, WORD of God, through which we obtain truths, principles and guidance for Kingdom living (II Timothy 3:16).
We believe that man is born in sin and shapen in iniquity and is therefore in need of salvation, which has been provided through the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ, via His death, burial and resurrection (Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23; I Corinthians 15:3-4; I Peter 1:3-4).
We believe that the atoning blood of Jesus Christ was shed for the remission of sin (Romans 5:6-11; Hebrews 9:22).
We believe that man is saved by grace through faith and that there must be verbal confession of sin and a faith proclamation of the Lordship of Jesus Christ, unto salvation (Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 10:9-10; I John 4:15).
We believe that water baptism and communion are the ordinances [established commands of an authoritative nature] in the Lord’s Church.
Water Baptism - Christ, our example, illustrates the necessity of baptism at His inauguration to ministry (Matthew 3) and via His instruction for the Church’s ministry at His ascension (Matthew 28:19). Therefore, we believe that water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, is essential to the New Birth experience and to membership in the Kingdom of God (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4; Colossians 2:12), the prerequisites of which are repentance, faith and confession (Acts 8:36-39).
Holy Communion - Christ our example instituted the Communion rite prior to His crucifixion and issued an instruction of continuance to the Church after His resurrection (Matthew 26:26-28; I Corinthians 11:23-24; John 3:17). The communion symbols of the Table (love and fellowship); the Bread (the body of our Lord; the Church); the Wine (blood of the New Covenant; fruit of the vine – the life blood of the grape, not alcoholic wine) are used in our Communion services. We believe in corporate feet washing, as demonstrated by our Lord. We do not believe however, that communion is incomplete without it. (Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:15-20; I Corinthians 10:16, 21; 11:20, 25).
We believe that the infilling of the Holy Spirit is for every believer, of which the evidence is speaking with other tongues (Acts 1:8; 2:1-4, 38; 8:14-17; 19:2).
We believe in Divine healing (Exodus 23:5; Psalm 1-3:3-5; 107:20; Jeremiah 7:14; 33:6; Isaiah 53:5; I Peter 2:24; I John 3:8b; III John 2).
We believe in the personal, visible, imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the bodily resurrection of the Believer. (Matthew 16:27; 24:30; John 5:28; Colossians 3:4; Titus 2:13; I Thessalonians 4:13-17; I John 3:2; Revelation 1:7-8).
We believe that the financial support of ministry is via the bringing of the tithe and the liberal release of offerings (Leviticus 27:30-31; Deuteronomy 26:1-2; Malachi 3:8-10; Luke 6:38; II Corinthians 9:6).
We believe that the five-fold ministry gifts of The Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher, given to the Church by Jesus Christ after His death, burial and resurrection are still in operation today (Ephesians 4:8-16).
